Loan Approved!

Well, I decided to call the loan company directly today, since I gave them my paperwork two weeks ago and still haven't heard back to see if we were approved for the loan (they had to "re-run" the #s since my credit report was more than 80 days old).

The loan officer (Gloria) said everything was good to go. I made sure to specifically ask "ok so underwriting said it was ok"... she said yes. She made a fuss about making sure any paperwork I get from Lockheed in relation to the closing costs gets sent to her... I asked for more explanation, but wasn't really given one. I think she wanted to make sure the loan information was correct but not sure. I'll have to make sure to forward her a copy of anything I get.

Also, the phone and gas utilities are set to go. Electric I had to have notarized and will be sending that out today. Water I couldn't set up yet, because if I requested it, the lady said she would have to shut off service until that day.... which made no sense at all. So i'll wait until the day before to do that I guess.
