Double Oven Cabinet Problem - Update
------------------
Hi Nick;
I stopped by the house today and took a couple of photos of the installed oven cabinet.Let me know if this is different than what you selected at the design center. When I asked the builders people about it, after checking with the design center they said that it should be what you chose.
Since the exact measurements of the ovens to be installed may vary, the oven installer would need to do adjustments to the cabinet interior to support the appropriate areas of the ovens, and make them fit correctly.
That is one of the downsides of not having the builder install appliances in cabinets, since fitting them properly is important.
I am attaching 2 photos I took for you to look at. Please let me know if that is not what you selected.

I sent him the following photo to try and help him and the design center understand the difference between a single and double oven cabinet.

We agreed at color selection that we would be responsible for trimming out the double oven cabinet to fit our appliance.... but they need to understand it is NOT possible to trim a single oven cabinet to fit a double oven cabinet.
I let the realtor know we had given the woman a picture of what the kitchen should look like as well as emailed her the measurements of the double oven.
It sounds like the builder will be pushing back that they won't replace it, I guess we'll see. The woman we dealt with at the design center was one of those "I didn't make a mistake, it's not my fault" type of people, so our best hope is they say it was a mistake by the cabinet supplier.
Also, they installed crown moulding. That was a $750 option we didn't pay for ... maybe they did that in hopes we'd ignore the single oven mistake?
