Hardwood Installed in the Kitchen

We took this picture a few weeks before Halloween. We found a really nice nursery where we got the mums.

So we finally decided on swapping the vinyl flooring for hardwood. It took us a week to pull out all of those staples once we got the vinyl and boards out becuase the builders had them every 2 inches! Then the flooring contractor came this past weekend and told us we didn't need to take them out, we could've just hammered them in....oh well :) Now the transition from the foyer to the kitchen is seamless.





We have 2 boxes of hardwood left over, so eventually we might try to install it ourselves in the office. We also have the powder room prepped and ready to be painted.
